Our ancient village inn has warmly welcomed guests for over 700 years. Steeped in history, the hotel oozes character and charm with its log fires, real ales and delicious food. Set in the heart of the Cotswold village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood, opposite the Church and village green, stands this ancient hostelry. Listed as one of the 10 oldest Inns in the country, the Shaven Crown Hotel started its life early in the 14th Century.

Close to all that the Cotswolds have to offer, Blenheim Palace is close by and the historic towns of Cheltenham and Oxford are just 20 miles away.

Eight individual rooms are complemented by a traditional bar serving real ales, and a fine dining restaurant.
